A bit more about me
I live near Union City with my husband and two children (ages 6 and 10), who are pictured below. As you can tell, they all love to fish!
I was raised on a dairy farm in Northern Darke County. I graduated from Mississinawa Valley and went on to college at The Ohio State University in Columbus. I received a BS and MS in crop science. I started out my career as an employee of the Darke Soil and Water Conservation.
In 1999, I started teaching Anatomy and Physiology, then later biology, at Ivy Tech State College in Richmond and Muncie, IN. It was then that I realized my true passion was for teaching. I went to IUE where I earned a second BS, this time in secondary science education. I would not trade teaching high school for anything!
I hope this will be a terrific year for my chemistry students. Please feel free to contact me if you ever need my assistance.
