Reading:

Practice sight words in your sight word envelope.
- I can read text using fluid and automatic decoding skills.
Read text at your reading level to an adult for 15 minutes. The choices for this activity include: reading folder books, king/queen folder, poetry folder and reading Treasures Book.
Writing:
-I can develop a main idea for writing. -I can organize my writing with a developed beginning, middle and end. -I can spell regularly used and high-frequency words correctly.
Please write a story of your choice with a beginning, middle and ending. The story should be at least 4 sentences in length. This story will need to be turned into your teacher.
Spelling:
-I can spell words studied correctly.
Speling activity: Rainbow Writing 1. You will need to use all 10 spelling words. 2. You will need to choose 3 favorite crayons to rainbow write your spelling words. 3. Write each word first in pencil on a piece of paper. 4. Trace over each word three times. Each time you trace, use a dirfferent color crayon. 5. Please select 3 spelling words to use in three different sentences. Write sentences on the same paper.
Please turn in your completed paper to your teacher.
Math: - I can solve addition facts to 10. Practice all your subtraction flashcards from your subtraction flashcard envelope.

Science: -I can listen to and answer questions about a story. Click on the scholastic link below and listen to the story called Native American Inventions.
Write two sentences sharing 2 facts that you learned from the story. Please give your teacher the completed sentences.
